Research Library

Mechanisms, studies graded by evidence, safety and regulatory status, with sources.

The Research Library is a quick reference to Peptide Library’s research profiles. Search by name, synonym or research code and read a compound’s mechanism, the studies behind it, its safety notes and its regulatory status without leaving the page you are on.

Evidence is shown for what it is: a controlled human trial, an early human study, an animal or lab study, or a secondary report are labeled differently, and investigational compounds are never presented as approved treatments.

What it does

  • Search by any name

Names, synonyms, alias profiles and research codes (for example “PL 14736” finds BPC-157).

  • Evidence by tier

Each study is labeled: regulatory label, controlled human trial, human study, secondary report, animal or lab, in vitro.

  • Safety and status

Reported adverse effects, warnings, contraindications, FDA status and the WADA sport list.

  • Sources

Links go only to scholarly, registry and regulatory sources such as PubMed, DOI, ClinicalTrials.gov and the FDA.

  • Favorites and compare

Star profiles and compare up to three side by side on stage, evidence, mechanism and safety.

How it works

Profiles come from the same database as peptidelibrary.app and the apps, and use the same dose-free view as the Peptide Library MCP server.

The extension never shows dose figures or regimens; the full profile on the website has the reviewed details and their sources.

Privacy

  • • Favorites and recently opened profiles stay on your device.
  • • Searches run against the public library only; nothing about you is sent.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Research Library give dosing information?

No. It leaves out every dose figure and regimen. The full profile on peptidelibrary.app links the cited sources.

How is evidence graded?

Each study is labeled by tier, from regulatory labels and controlled human trials to animal, lab and in-vitro research, so preliminary findings are never mistaken for established ones.

Are these compounds approved treatments?

Only where the profile says FDA-approved, and then only for the labeled use. Investigational and research compounds carry a “Not an approved treatment” notice.

Can I look things up offline?

Search works offline from the last saved catalog, and profiles you opened recently stay readable.

Where do the references link?

Only to scholarly, registry and regulatory sources such as PubMed, DOI links, ClinicalTrials.gov, the FDA, EMA and WHO. Never to stores.
