Mazdutide dosage in published studies and labels

These are the doses used for Mazdutide in FDA labelling and published clinical studies, reported as each source states them, one row per regimen. They describe what was studied or approved for a specific population. They are not a recommendation, and none of them is a dose for any individual.

Studied regimens and sources

Mazdutide has no FDA-approved dosage. Human dosing comes from phase 3 trials in Chinese adults with overweight or obesity. GLORY-1 compared 4 mg and 6 mg injected under the skin once a week with placebo for 48 weeks, with mean weight changes of -11.0% and -14.0% against +0.3%, and GLORY-2 tested 9 mg weekly for 60 weeks, with -16.7% against -1.5%.

Where sources disagree

  • Both phase 3 trials enrolled Chinese adults only. The FDA has not approved mazdutide, and these trial doses are not an approved dosage in the United States.
  • Like other drugs in this class, mazdutide is a weekly injection whose doses are trial arms, not interchangeable with doses of semaglutide, tirzepatide or retatrutide.
