API terms of use
1. Agreement
These terms apply to the Peptide Library API, SDKs, OpenAPI document and related developer services (the “API”), provided by Superfime LLC (“Peptide Library”, “we”). By creating a key or calling the API you agree to them and to the site Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you use the API for an organization, you confirm you may bind it.
2. Research and education only
API data is research and educational information. It is not medical advice, and many compounds it describes are not approved for human use. You must not present API data as medical advice, as dosing or administration guidance, or as a recommendation to buy or use any substance, and you must not combine it with dosing information in a way that implies Peptide Library provided it.
3. Keys and accounts
Keep keys confidential and on your servers; never put them in web pages, mobile apps or public repositories. You are responsible for all use of your keys. Rotate or revoke a key that may have leaked. One person or organization may hold one developer account; do not create accounts or keys to get around limits.
4. Limits and plans
Each plan has per-minute and monthly limits, and anonymous use is limited per IP address. We may change plans and limits, and may throttle or suspend use that harms the service or other users. Paid plans are not currently offered; nothing is billed through the API.
5. Attribution
Where you show API data, credit "Data from Peptide Library" with a link to peptidelibrary.app or to the page URL each result returns. Do not imply that Peptide Library endorses your product.
6. Vendor and price data
Show prices with their currency and the time they were last seen, and do not present them as current or guaranteed. Keep vendor links (product_page_url, website_url) as returned; do not strip, rewrite or replace them. Show the affiliate disclosure the API returns near any vendor link. Ratings and verification labels must be shown as the API returns them. Do not use vendor or price data to rank vendors by commission, to send marketing to vendors, or to build or resell a competing price dataset.
7. Prohibited uses
Do not: scrape the website instead of using the API; try to get around keys, scopes or limits; call the API to harm, overload or test the security of our systems; reverse engineer non-public parts of the service; use the API for unlawful purposes, including facilitating the unlawful sale of controlled or prescription-only substances; or redistribute bulk copies of the data as a dataset of your own.
8. Caching
You may cache research data for up to 24 hours and price data for up to 1 hour, then refresh it. Remove data the API stops returning.
9. Privacy
We record, per key, daily counts of requests and errors, the endpoints called, recent error details (endpoint, status, error code, request id) for 30 days, and aggregate counts by country and client type. We don't store IP addresses or query text with these records; our host processes IP addresses to apply rate limits. The API returns no personal data, and you must not send us any. See the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and termination
We may change the API and these terms. v1 only gains fields and endpoints; breaking changes ship as a new version with notice in the changelog. Material changes to these terms are announced on this page, and continuing to use the API means you accept them. You may stop using the API at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or to protect the service, its users or vendors.
11. No warranty; limitation of liability
THE API AND ITS DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. DATA MAY BE INCOMPLETE, OUT OF DATE OR WRONG. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUPERFIME LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE API, AS SET OUT IN THE SITE TERMS OF SERVICE.
