what would actually change your mind about your favorite compound?

Worth stating in advance, because a position you can't specify disconfirming evidence for isn't really a position about the world.

Mine, for the compounds I'm skeptical about: an adequately powered, pre-registered, double blind randomized trial with an objective primary endpoint, reported regardless of outcome. If that showed a clear effect I'd update immediately and substantially.

What's yours? And if the honest answer is "nothing", that's worth noticing. Not applicable as an evidence tier, this is about epistemics rather than findings.

for bpc: two independent groups failing to replicate the tendon findings in a well powered animal study. the current evidence is consistent but not independent

The "if the answer is nothing, notice that" line is the important part.
