Where sources disagree

  • The Cetrotide label's clinical studies section also describes a single 3 mg dose regimen that was tested in phase 3, but its dosage section gives only the 0.25 mg daily regimen.
  • Cetrorelix is one part of an IVF protocol: the label pairs it with gonadotropins from cycle day 2 or 3 and hCG to induce ovulation, and says no hCG should be given if the ovaries respond excessively.
  • The label says pregnancy must be excluded before treatment and reports hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylactoid reactions with the first dose.
