Fifty using semaglutide

FitfiftyResearch Fellow

Age 52. Down 25 lbs in 4 months. Slow ramp up. Biggest win was reduced inflammation. My knees actually feel better. But I did have heartburn almost daily the first month. Smaller meals helped a lot but still getting heart burn. Anyone else experiencing the same?

10lbs over how long? What dose and how frequently do you inject? Thanks!

I started reta about a month ago and am down 13lbs. Also doing NAD+ and MOTS-C which has helped tremendously with energy and focus. Perimenipause started a few months ago and this stack has been a life saver.

How do the NAD shots compare to pills? I have tried pills and feel like I have more focus.

I read that NAD in pills is a large molecule and is damaged by the digestive tract before it's absorbed. I didn't want to do another fault injection, so I'm using NMN powder, which is the precursor to NAD.

I have not tried the pills, so I can't make a comparison. But with the injections I have absolutely noticed a big increase in focus and steady energy.

I've been using Reta for 11wks, down 14lbs, started 0.5mg 4wks, 1mg for 4wks, now on 1.5mg. I'll stay on this dose now. I'm adding in cjc+ipa this wk. I train weights 4xwk consistently working with progressive overload, calculate macros and stick to a food routine that has at least 1.2g protein perkg, no alcohol, no junk or diet drinks etc I'm very happy with my results 😀 I'm perimenopause, asymptomatic. Love that my mind isn't consumed by food noise any more.
