ahk-cu vs ghk-cu, is there any real research on ahk at all?

both copper binding tripeptides, thats why they get shelved together, and thats about where the similarity ends in terms of whats actually been studied.

ghk-cu has by far the bigger literature. matrix remodeling, fibroblasts, wound healing, the cosmetic studies. still mostly in vitro and small topical trials but theres volume.

ahk-cu comes up almost only in hair contexts and the published base is thin. a lot of what circulates traces back to a small number of sources, some of them commercial not academic.

so when people ask which is better studied, its not close. but nobody says that.

if anyone has ahk-cu sources i havent found id like to see them, thats partly why im posting

    you're not missing much, i've looked. the hair peptide literature is thin and a lot of it is manufacturer adjacent. doesnt make it wrong, does mean you should know that before you weigh it

    Copper peptide stability in a finished product is genuinely hard. pH, chelators, other actives. Whether an in vitro effect survives onto a shelf is a separate question nobody asks.
