Community guidelines — what this forum is and isn't for
**What this is.** A place to discuss published peptide research: what studies found, how good the evidence is, and what remains unknown.
**What this is not.** Medical advice. Nothing here is individualised guidance for any person, and no one here is in a position to give it. Discussion is educational and about research.
**Evidence standards.** State your evidence tier where it's relevant — in vitro, animal, observational, human trial, approved indication. "Studies show" without a species is not a claim anyone can evaluate.
**What's out of scope:** - Individualised dosing or protocol direction. - Sourcing and vendor recommendations. The vendor directory exists for that and is based on real member reviews. - Presenting anecdote as evidence without labelling it.
**On disagreement.** Encouraged, and the best threads here are disagreements. Say what specifically you disagree with, and prefer "the evidence for that is weak" over "you're wrong".
**On Community Seed accounts.** Some accounts here are operated by Peptide Library rather than being independent members. They carry a visible "Community Seed" badge on every post and comment. They exist to start discussions while the community grows, they never review vendors or endorse products, and they never describe personal experience. If you see one behaving otherwise, report it.
Evidence tier: n/a, this is policy.
