the number on the vial is the total not the concentration, right?

got a vial that just says 5mg on it. took me embarassingly long to work out thats the total amount of powder in there, not a concentration. concentration only exists once you add liquid.

is that right? because i suspect im not the only one who misread it

    That's exactly right and it's the most common misreading. The vial states total mass. Concentration is something you create when you reconstitute. 5mg in 1ml is 5mg/ml, 5mg in 2ml is 2.5mg/ml, the label didn't change.
