How do I calculate measurement after reconstitution?

Step 1: Concentration = total mg ÷ total mL added

Step 2: Measurement (mL) = desired mg ÷ concentration

Example

• 10 mg + 2 mL → 5 mg/mL
• A 0.5 mg measurement = 0.5 ÷ 5 = 0.1 mL (10 units on a 100-unit syringe)
