# Peptide Library vs PeptidePal: Which Peptide Tracker Fits You Better?

Protocols, vials, research, vendor pricing and privacy compared side by side, with what each app does best.

## Quick verdict

PeptidePal is a polished protocol tracker: several protocols side by side, vial run-out warnings, reconstitution math, a body map, an AI advisor and a moderated forum, with protocol data kept on your device by default. Peptide Library tracks too, but adds cited research, publication data and vendor price comparison, and it runs in a browser as well as on iPhone and Android.

### Choose Peptide Library if

- You want research profiles with cited sources, not only plain-English summaries.
- You compare vendor listings and price per mg before buying.
- You want a web app alongside the phone apps.
- You'd rather pay once: Peptide Library offers a lifetime option, while PeptidePal's listing shows only subscriptions.

### Choose PeptidePal if

- You run several protocols side by side and want each to stay exactly as you designed it.
- You want protocol data on your phone by default, with iCloud sync only if you turn it on.
- You want an AI advisor and a peer forum inside the app.
- You want reconstitution math with a syringe diagram in its iPhone app.

## Key differences

### Cited research instead of summaries alone

PeptidePal's profiles explain mechanism, half-life, research and regulatory status in plain English. Peptide Library's profiles cite their sources, label evidence by type and connect to publication and trial statistics.

### Vendor discovery

PeptidePal's listing and website don't mention vendors or prices. Peptide Library compares vendor listings and price per mg within each product form, with coupon codes and vendor reviews.

### Where your data lives

PeptidePal keeps protocol data on the device by default, with optional iCloud sync. Peptide Library's apps also store data on the device; sync between devices uses your account, and the web app is account-based.

### Forecasting stock

Both project when a vial runs out: PeptidePal warns about a week ahead. Peptide Library deducts stock as you log, gives run-out and reorder-by dates, and covers capsules, nasal sprays and ready-to-use containers as well as vials.

## Research

PeptidePal's compound library is written in plain English. Each entry states its regulatory status, mechanism, half-life and reported side effects, and the app adds curated stacks. Its App Store description gives both 110+ and 50+ as the number of profiles, so we haven't used either figure.

Peptide Library's 200+ profiles are built as research references: each cites its sources (PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, DailyMed or EMA), labels studies by evidence type and links to the Research Intelligence Center's publication and trial statistics. You can compare two or three peptides side by side and see which ones the community is researching.

## Tracking

PeptidePal's protocol builder works in mcg, mg, IU and mL, with daily, every-other-day, twice-weekly and 5-on/2-off patterns, and logging is one tap from a week strip. Peptide Library's schedules cover the same patterns plus several times a day and titration, and its reminders are planned dose by dose.

For inventory, PeptidePal records fill size, concentration and expiry and projects run-out from your live schedule. Peptide Library deducts stock when you log, estimates doses left, run-out and reorder-by dates, and keeps price, dates, vendor and COA for each container.

PeptidePal also charts an estimated on-board level from your logs and offers progress-photo time-lapses; Peptide Library compares progress photos side by side but does not model levels.

## Vendors

PeptidePal is a tracking and education app and doesn't advertise vendor features. This is where the two differ most: Peptide Library's Shop groups listings by compound and product form, shows price per mg within the same form, carries vendor coupon codes and links to vendor profiles with reviews.

## Pricing

PeptidePal's App Store In-App Purchases list monthly prices from $8.99 to $14.99, a $39.99 quarterly plan and yearly prices from $29.99 to $59.99; what the free tier includes isn't stated. Peptide Library Pro is $4.99 a month, $39.99 a year or $89.99 once, and the free plan covers the library, vendor prices, logging and schedules.

## Where PeptidePal is stronger

### Several protocols side by side

Its protocol builder is the centre of the app, and it keeps the protocol you designed and the one you are running the same.

### On-device by default

The developer says it never sees your protocols, doses or notes, and photo metadata is stripped before storage.

### AI advisor and moderated forum

Short educational answers in the app, plus a peer forum with reactions. Peptide Library has no in-app AI.

### Level curves and photo time-lapse

An estimated on-board level chart and time-lapse progress photos, neither of which Peptide Library offers.

## Final verdict

PeptidePal is a capable, privacy-minded tracker with strong protocol tools. Peptide Library is the stronger choice when your process includes research and vendor comparison, or when you want the same account in a browser.

If you mainly log doses and rotate sites, both will serve you well. The deciding question is whether you want research and pricing in the same place as your tracker.

## Frequently asked questions

### How many compounds are in PeptidePal's library?

Its App Store description gives both 110+ and 50+. We couldn't confirm a single figure, so we don't list one. Peptide Library has 200+ research profiles, counted live from the library.

### Is PeptidePal available on Android?

Yes. PeptidePal: Peptide Tracker is on Google Play from Blank Labs, alongside the iPhone app. Neither listing mentions a web app; Peptide Library also runs in the browser.

### Does PeptidePal store my data in the cloud?

The developer says protocol data stays on your device by default, with optional iCloud sync. Peptide Library's apps also keep data on the device; syncing between devices needs an account, and on iPhone it's part of Pro.

### How much does PeptidePal cost?

The App Store lists monthly plans from $8.99 to $14.99, a $39.99 quarterly plan and yearly plans from $29.99 to $59.99 (US, checked October 2026). The price shown in the app is the one that applies.

### Does PeptidePal compare vendor prices?

Not according to its listing or website. Peptide Library compares vendor listings and price per mg, always within the same product form.

### Which app has an AI advisor?

PeptidePal does: it gives short educational answers and won't recommend doses or protocols. Peptide Library has no AI in the app.

Comparisons use public listings and websites. "Not advertised" means no source we checked mentions the feature, not that it is missing.
